This year, I, alongside many other people, have made the decision to make more of an effort to find, read and engage with blogs. I know some platforms are taking measures that make things a bit harder for content creators but I really do hope this doesn’t result in people losing their motivation to do what they love. Though I’m relatively new to blogging myself, I thought it would be nice to share with you all some bloggers who are new to the community, and whose blogs I’ve enjoyed reading recently as part of my In The Spotlight post for January 2018. My previous one was about my favourite bloggers of 2017, which you can check out here if you haven’t already!
Bexa blogs about study, lifestyle, travel and more so you can probably see why I resonate with her content. What I think really appeals to me to her blog is the huge variety within it, because she uploads informative content as well as more general, life-related posts (like her Ask Me Anything). Her latest upload was a post on her top six ways to boost creativity, which I found super useful and much needed at this point in the year where school work starts taking over life a bit! Bexa is also without a doubt one of the most welcoming people in the community – so go give her a follow on Twitter too while you’re at it. 😉
First of all… can we just take a moment to appreciate how beautiful the design of this blog is?! I love the whole pastel, simplistic theme and the site’s so easy to navigate around! Harriet blogs about everything from fashion and beauty to food and lifestyle. I’m particularly enjoying reading her style-related posts, as I love seeing how different people style outfits and taking inspiration from their dressing! Her writing style also comes across as so personal and bubbly which makes her posts such fun to read.
Becca’s blog is delightful in every way. It is literally bursting with colour and her recipes look so good. There’s a few on there that I really want to try as soon as I get the time! A Small Spring Soiree may just be the most beautiful post on her blog…. it makes me so excited for spring!! An aesthetic picnic is definitely on my bucket list of things to do with my friends this spring now… thanks for the idea, Becca. I’ve only recently come across her blog but I feel like I relate to her so much – from her love of Sims 3 to her preference for chilling at home. I am SO glad I came across her site!
I’m really pleased that I have been able to get to know Judanna since I started blogging, and I now consider her to be a friend. I consider her to be one of the most genuine, sincere bloggers in the Blogosphere. The positivity she radiates is admirable and I am especially fond of her thoughtful, reflective blog posts. I always find it really interesting to read people’s views and experiences which is why I really enjoy reading Judanna’s blog. PS. her Instagram is beautiful. Well worth the follow. 😉
Another talented lady that I’ve got to know through blogging is Sophie, who blogs about skincare and food. As a beginner when it comes to taking proper care of my skin, I found Sophie’s post about the Do’s and Don’ts of skincare to be super useful. I’ve also spotted a couple of recipes on her site that I would absolutely love to try… when I have the time! This Veggie Burger is one that I am desperate to try soon. Sophie also shares advice on how to maintain a healthy lifestyle, so if that’s one of your goals for this year, I’d highly recommend checking out her site!
I hope you’re inspired to have a read of some of these blogs. Let me know whose content you’ve been reading lately in the comments! I am always looking find new blogs to read.
